We are seeking a senior server-side developer to help us scale and extend our platform. Ideal candidates will have a mixture of outstanding development skills, lean/agile software development experience, and deep understanding of scalable web, mobile, and cloud applications.
Our EASE platform is built for the web and mobile and is cloud native using HTML5, Angular, Material Design, .Net Core, and MySQL.
Work Location: Hybrid - work from San Clemente, CA office & Home Office.
Salary: $160,000 - $190,000 per year

What You’ll Do:
- Work with Product Manager, UX, and team to break down business requirements and features into actionable work items.
- Design and implement new features and solutions that support customer use cases.
- Write comprehensive and meaningful unit and integration tests for all new code.
- Meet sprint goals by proactively working with stakeholders and team to identify and resolve sprint blockers.
- Collaborate with QA to create test cases and define applicable test automation.
- Mentor team members on new technologies, architecture, and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps in technology, process, sprint flow, and offering solutions for them.
- 5+ years of professional web tech and server-side development experience.
- Experience with modern server-side technologies and patterns such as microservices, async messaging, concurrency, horizontal scaling, caching, security, etc.
- Experience designing APIs for scale.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and query optimization.
- Strong understanding of unit/integration testing and test driven development.
- Strong experience with Agile development processes and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- BS in Computer Science / Engineering, or equivalent training.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Expertise with AWS Cloud – SQS, SNS, Lambda, etc.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, IIS maintenance (Web Deploy).
- NoSQL databases.
